Arturo Almeida

I would like to thank you for previewing our University Art Collection website. It represents a compilation of over 130 individual artists, from a collection of 400 individual pieces in our Permanent Collection. Our Current Exhibitions display local talent, and our Art News section is a listing of regional contemporary art events.

Background

Arturo Almeida is a native of Brownsville, Texas. Arturo serves as the art consultant for The University of Texas at San Antonio, where he is the curator responsible for the administration of UTSA's collection of artwork. He attended Del Mar College and studied photography at San Antonio College and the Southwest School of Art and Craft. His photography has been displayed in Austin, San Antonio, El Paso and Corpus Christi.
